Bucknell Cheerleading is the official sideline spirit squad of Bucknell University, energizing Bison fans from August through April. The team supports home football games in the fall and transitions to the court for men’s and women’s basketball throughout the winter season. With a strong presence at Christy Mathewson–Memorial Stadium and Sojka Pavilion, the squad leads cheers, engages the crowd, and helps create an energetic atmosphere! Bucknell Cheerleading trains in stunting, tumbling, strength, and conditioning to perform on game day! Athletes balance a full academic course load with practices, game commitments, and campus involvement, demonstrating teamwork, discipline, and school pride. Beyond the sidelines, the program promotes leadership and community engagement.
