About the Program
The Drexel University Dance Team is sponsored by the Department of Athletics, and a part of the Drexel University Spirit Squad. The team is an integral part of the fan experience at all men’s and women’s home basketball games. The team also supports other university sports, attends various campus and community events throughout the year. The DUDT also participates in regional UDA & NDA competitions within the season. Members of the dance team can major in any academic program, must be full-time students, and are expected to maintain high GPA standards. As varsity student-athletes, dancers benefit from a range of support services available to all Drexel varsity sports teams.
