Recent Achievements
Agota Balot's fencers reached numerous national finals and top podium positions in foil and epee. Individual achievements include Alexx Sowuleski finishing 8th at the 2003 National Championship Youth-14 epee event, Nicole Vaiani being the Youth-12 National Foil Champion in 2010, and Sally Higgins finishing 2nd in Veteran-70 epee in 2014. Agota Balot earned bronze medals in the epee event at the Veteran World Fencing Championships in Livorno 2018 and Cairo 2019.

About the Program
Fencing has been a staple club sport of Stockton's Athletic department for decades. It is a combat sport featuring sword fighting with three disciplines: foil, épée, and sabre. Fencing develops quickness, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular conditioning. Instruction is provided in epee, foil, and saber, focusing on technique and footwork.
