About the Program
The SBU cheerleaders are highly visible within our community and therefore must be able to represent the University in a positive way. Commitment to a full year of participation is mandatory as we start in August / September with tryouts, practices in September and October and games begin in November. We cheer at Men's and Women's Basketball and we do a lot of campus and community service events.
