We support the 2023 Division I National Champion Men’s Ice Hockey & Division I Women’s Ice Hockey Teams, as well as the Quinnipiac/local communities.

We support the 2023 Division I National Champion Men’s Ice Hockey & Division I Women’s Ice Hockey Teams, as well as the Quinnipiac/local communities.

To become a Quinnipiac Cheerleader, you must demonstrate tight clean motion, creative, firm stunting skills, solid jumps, an ability to dance and cheer well. Cheerleaders are expected to have loud, clear voices with lots of enthusiasm! 100% dedication and loyalty to the team is an absolute must! Every Cheerleader on this team is expected to learn a variety of sideline cheers, band dances, our fight song words with dance, numerous timeout routines and additional sideline material which will be incorporated with props (signs, poms, etc). Creative solid stunting skills within the NCAA guidelines is also an absolute must! Minor tumbling skills are imperative to have as well and although advanced tumbling is not a requirement for the team, having some advanced tumbling will put you in the forefront. Attendance at every playoff game is mandatory. Playoffs (unless hosted by Quinnipiac) will be AWAY games and you will be required to travel with the team during that time. Sideline Cheer participates in several fundraising, charity, and school events as well throughout the year. Maintaining a 2.0 GPA is required.
