Athletics & scholarships at John Carroll University

The members of the JCU Cheer program are dedicated to leading Blue Streak students and fans in supporting their Blue Streaks teams. Their appearances include JCU Football in Don Shula Stadium, JCU Men's and Women's Basketball games in the De Carlo Varsity Center plus occasional promotional events on-campus and in the community. John Carroll University Cheerleaders participate in volunteer opportunities as deemed appropriate by the Head Coach and squad.

The John Carroll University Dance Team is comprised of undergraduate students interested in dance and performance opportunities at various home athletic events. The 2022-23 team features (12) members who perform at home Football and Basketball games during halftime and timeouts. The Team has also competed at competitions located in Ohio. Additionally, the Dance Team provides entertainment for athletic pep rallies and various charitable fundraisers and alumni events.
